My writing journey has been sort of backwards. The very first thing I wrote was a book proposal. During the quest to publish my book, A Case for Kindness, I  launched this blog as a way to improve my writing and connect with others. And what a wonderful gift it has been for me, and hopefully will be for you too!

One of my all-time favorite things is taking walks with friends. It’s a sacred time to hang out, soak in the splendor of nature, and cover lots of ground with our feet and our words. I’ve always thought of my blog as a casual walk we get to take together. A chance to be real, sharing life’s joys and struggles. A place to find balance in the chaos and know we aren’t alone. A simple way to process and enjoy life—one step at a time.

Just like a stroll, our conversations could take us just about anywhere. But I always hope to leave you with something to think about, a word of encouragement, and a smile on your face.
